Inc. Magazine debuted its 2022 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

Here are the top ten consumer product companies that make or sell beauty products that made the cut.   

No. 35  Zimba & Plus Ultra

An oral care brand focused on creating eco-conscious and sustainable products, Zimba & Plus Ultra, grew by 9,349% over the pasth three years. Christina Ramirez, CEO, founded the company in 2012. 

No. 84  Athena Club

Athena Club, a direct-to-consumer retailer offering self-care products in body, wellness, and period care categories posted a 4,960% three-year growth. Charles Desmarais and Maria Markina, co-CEOs and co-founders and co-ceos, founded the company in 2017. 

No. 125  Herb’NEden

Soap and body care company Herb’NEden creates products made exclusively from plants. The company grew by 3,568% over three years. Quinton and Tarran Lewis founded the company in 2016.

No. 132 Hero Cosmetics

Hero Cosmetics is a “skin care solutions” brand focused on addressing acne care and prevention. The company posted a 3,505% three-year growth. Ju Rhyu founded the company in 2017. 

No. 152  Vegamour

Vegamour, a hair care and beauty company using a science-driven approach to address hair health, boasts a 3,284% 3-year growth rate. Dan Hodgdon, CEO, founded the company in 2016. 

No. 337  Prose

Prose is a direct-to-consumer beauty brand—and one of Kline’s predictions for one of three  booming indie brands on track to be billion dollar buyouts. Prose makes made-to-order hair products with natural ingredients. Led by Arnaud Plas and founded in 2017, the company grew by 1,706% over three years.

No. 476  CBD Hemp Garden

CBD Hemp Garden is a hemp-based wellness and beauty company specializing in 100% natural CBD topicals. Vanessa Elawar leads the company, which was founded in 2016—and grew by 1,315% in three years. 

No. 755  SOS Beauty Group

SOS Beauty Group is an incubator specializing in beauty brand development, management, supply chain and production while working with artists, entrepreneurs and beauty leaders. Led by Dustin Cash and founded in 2017, the company posted an 840% three-year growth.  

No. 810  Wild Willies Brand

Wild Willies says it’s a personal care brand “equipping modern men with timeless tools and solutions for their grooming, health and lifestyle needs.” Kerry Sebree leads the company, which was founded in 2016—and posted a 781% three-year growth rate.

No. 838  Peace Out Skincare

Peace Out Skincare is an online and in-store specialty skin care company—and is the top-selling acne brand at Sephora U.S. Enrico Frezza leads the company, which was founded in 2017. it grew by 752% over three years.
